Holland is a cosmopolitan destination and is home to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague, three very different cities each with many reasons to visit!
Amsterdam is the capital city of Holland and is renowned for an excellent art scene as well as top notch nightlife and evening entertainment. Rotterdam specialises in grass roots culture and is architecturally stunning. The Hague is a city deep rooted within international politics and also has a stunning town centre.
Off the beaten track you will find the city of Eindhoven, home to footballing legends PSV Eindhoven. It's also a fashion, design and technology hub within Holland.
Maastricht is one of Holland's oldest cities and offers ancient caves to explore. You can spend countless hours simply gazing over the gorgeous and peaceful countryside of South Limburg.
Utrecht and Delft are another two cities worth visiting, both being very popular with tourists.
If you happen to visit in winter, you would be foolish to miss the extravagant Dutch Christmas Markets. Various markets are set up offering quaint stalls selling local foods and crafted gifts including Winterland Maastricht, Christmas Market Fluweelengrot in Valkenburg, Dordrecht Christmas market as well as those in Deventer and Amsterdam amongst others.
