But there is nothing like being there in person. Go to the harbour to witness 40 fishing boats returning together and you’ll have your breath taken away.
Cafés and restaurants line the quaint streets and offer the perfect opportunity to sit and watch the world go by in complete peace (whilst eating and drinking some of the finest produce available).
As well as plenty of food and drink, there are many other activities to enjoy in Honfleur. Saint Catherine’s Church is a stunning example of the naval technique of building, dating back to the 15th century.
Naturospace is an excellent day out for the whole family. It is a garden, zoo and tropical greenhouse complete with butterflies. It is also where rare breeds are able to live in peace.
Le Jardin des Personnalites is another way to spend a pleasant few hours. There are sculptures and exotic plants here, as well as immaculately landscaped lawns.
