The renowned value of a P&O Ferries 2 for 1 Hull to Ghent mini cruise has returned, but with a twist.
Last year the 2 for 1 deal started from £88 for two people. This year, under the banner 'Mini Cruises Mini Prices', P&O Ferries has reduced the starting rate to from £45 per person.
While the offer is not called a two for one deal, you don't need to be a mathematician to see that this is effectively an identical offer. However, this year groups of three and five can take advantage of the same value that those travelling as a couple or a group of four used to enjoy.
Selected dates are available from October 2016 to March 2017. These include 1st October 2016, 25th October, 22nd November, 8th December, 15th December, 24th January 2017, 14th February, 28th February, 16th March, and 22nd March.
Prices start from £45 per person based on Sunday to Wednesday sailings. Thursday sailings start from £48 per person. To get an actual quote for your own travel dates, select "Ghent (via Zeebrugge) Mini Cruise (departs Hull) (2 Nights)" when you get a quote here °.
The sailing itself is the same. You'll set sail from Hull in the evening bound for Zeebrugge. Enjoy the great entertainment on-board your crossing and enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in an en-suite inside cabin. The following morning you'll dock in Zeebrugge and board a coach for a transfer into Ghent. You'll have around 6 hours of free time in Ghent (depending on when you dock, and when you choose to catch the return coach back to the port).
Ghent offers a historical backdrop combined with the modern day life. It offers plentiful pavement cafés, stylish shops and hotels together with plenty to do. Ghent is famed for its Mestel bread, a spiced sandwich roll, Tierenteyn, a regional mustard and of course Belgian confectionery including; chocolates, sweets and ‘Sneeuwballen’, traditional treats made from dark chocolate, vanilla and a dusting of icing sugar.
Your return sailing departs in the early evening and sails overnight back to Hull, giving you another chance to enjoy yourself on-board.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
Tip: Book online to avoid a surcharge that is applied to telephone bookings.
The dull-but-necessary small print
All deals are subject to availability and can be withdrawn by the operator without prior notice. The lead-in prices (otherwise known as the 'from' prices) are, unless otherwise stated above, based on two adults sharing the cheapest available cabin on the cheapest available date. Typically the best prices are available at the start of any promotion period so the earlier you book the better choice of sailing dates and cabin availability you should have. Mid-week sail dates are likely to be cheaper than weekend sail dates.
