Ferries to Tiree, Scotland

Pretty Tiree is the westernmost island within the Inner Hebrides.

It is just 12 miles long by six miles across, but its small size doesn’t mean there is nothing to see or do here – there is plenty, and it is all unique.

The views on Tiree are out of this world – all that can be seen for many a mile are skies and sea. If you are looking for a place that is remote (yet easy to access), Tiree could well be your idea of heaven.

The beach on Tiree wraps around the island, and is almost 46 miles in length. Here you can enjoy the sun and the sea and look for fossils too. Surfing is particularly good here, and that along with body boarding and windsurfing can be tried out. Expert or beginner, there will be someone on hand to help you. In fact, the waves are so good around Tiree that this is where the UK’s premier windsurfing competition is held each year.
